APEX HOMES OPTION LIST

Upgrade Without Going Back to Plan Review

Before, any change to a pre-approved plan could send it back for a regular permit review. Apex Homes come with San Jose’s ONLY option list: the upgrades clients ask for most, with no new review.

Window and sliding door upgrades on an Apex Homes ADU
OPTION 1

Window and Sliding Door Upgrades

More natural light, better airflow, and an easy step out to the yard, so the ADU feels bigger than its footprint.

Skylights in an Apex Homes ADU
OPTION 2

Skylights

Daylight from above when a two-story main house or a nearby wall shades the ADU's windows.

Raised foundation for an Apex Homes ADU
OPTION 3

Raised Foundation

A practical answer for sloped or uneven lots, drainage and moisture concerns, less stable soil, or tricky utility access.

SMARTER THAN MOVING

You Don't Need a New Home. You Need a Second One.

Moving is expensive, stressful, and disruptive. A new mortgage at today's rates. A bidding war you might not win. A new neighborhood to learn, new schools, new everything. And even after all that, there's no guarantee the next house actually fits your family any better than this one does.

Same Address, More Space

Add the room your family needs without a new mortgage, a new school district, or goodbye to the neighbors you know. It's built right where you already live.

Certainty You Won't Get From a Move

Skip the bidding wars and move-in surprises. You get a fixed price and a known outcome, on the property you already know.

A Home of Their Own, Steps From Yours

Give parents getting older or kids moving back their own front door and their own space, close enough to see every day.

What Your Backyard Is Costing You

Every year that yard sits unused in San Jose is rent, equity, and space someone in your family could actually be using.

$2,000–$3,500/mo

Left on the table. That's what a well-built ADU could be earning you right now, driven by strong rental demand across San Jose.

20–30%

The typical resale-value increase a legal, permitted ADU adds to a San Jose home, on top of the rental income it can generate along the way.

Multigenerational

Without it, aging parents, adult children, or live-in caregivers are stuck choosing between crowding your home or living elsewhere.

Apex Homes vs. Other San Jose ADU Builders

Design-builders, general contractors, and prefab vendors each cover part of the job. Apex Homes covers all of it, in-house.

"I'm usually stingy with five-star reviews, but Apex Homes absolutely rocks. From the first call, they treated my scattershot sketches like gold: polished the design, wrangled the permits so I never saw City Hall, and kept every penny transparent."

Meredith Munger · Google Review

"The most professional people you will meet. They know what they are doing."

Bao Tran · Google Review

"Best team to have on your side to guide you through your home renovation. Extremely professional and knowledgeable."
